Job Title: Group Sales Manager

Reports To: Associate Director of Marketing and Public Relations

JOB SUMMARY
The Group Sales Manager, a member of the Marketing Department of Broadway Sacramento, oversees the operation of the Group Sales Department for all Broadway At Music Circus and Broadway On Tour shows.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Administrative Management
- Manage the operation of all Group Sales department responsibilities
- Assist the Marketing department in promotional and sales materials pertaining to Group Sales
- Track Group Sales and contribute to fiscal year projections and budget
- Assist by recommending group pricing and discount structure
- Train, oversee and coordinate work schedule for the Group Sales Assistant position
General Duties
- Oversee and carry out the booking, contracting, reminders, payment and shipping for all group orders, including group seasons
- Prepare reports and work along with Box Office staff on season subscription renewal procedures
- Prepare reports for Broadway On Tour and Broadway At Music Circus financial settlements
- Assist in establishment of ticket pricing and group discounting for upcoming seasons
- Assist in creation of full calendar of events and deadlines for the Marketing and Group Sales departments
- Assist Marketing in the promotion of Group Sales, including specific group promos or bundle offers
- Write content for marketing materials specific to Group Sales, i.e. website pages, eblasts, playbill pages, season package materials, and approve copy, artwork and house ads via Wrike project management platform
- Create and maintain copy and content for the group ticket pages of the website
- Maintain strong public relations with current group leaders
- Seek opportunities for new group development
- Evaluate the growth and success of the department and implement any new policies, procedures, restrictions, events or promotions to continue to increase sales and strengthen customer relations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- College graduate or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability for strong time management and organization
- Strong customer relation and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel, Tessitura ticketing software. Some knowledge of Access is beneficial
- Interest in and working knowledge of musical theatre shows and productions preferred
