Education

and Community Engagement

The Broadway Sacramento Education and Community Engagement Department is dedicated to providing high-quality performing arts experiences for all theatre lovers.

Education

As the educational cornerstone of Broadway Sacramento, our multi-disciplinary programs train and nurture aspiring technical and performing artists who wish to further their career goals, as well as those who seek the arts as inspiration. All education programs are taught by theatre professionals, performance-trained teaching artists, and visiting artists and artisans from the companies of Broadway On Tour and Broadway At Music Circus productions.

Community Engagement

Through the generosity of over 3,000 donors, Broadway Sacramento is able to educate and develop diverse new artists and audiences of the future by providing opportunities for schools and community organizations to attend Broadway On Tour and Broadway At Music Circus performances. Sign Language Interpreters, Hearing Assistive Devices, Open Captioning, Audio Description, Tactile Preshow Presentations and Educational Guides help make our performances accessible to all.
