    The Cast

     

    LAURA DICKINSON is a series regular on the Emmy-nominated hit Disney Channel show “Phineas & Ferb.” She’s also featured on the recently released soundtrack album, now available on iTunes. Other television and film credits include background vocals for “American Idol,” “Emperor’s New School” and “Sonny With A Chance” for The Disney Channel, “Cinderella III,” and national commercials for Priceline, Target, and NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” Recent musical theatre credits include Amneris in Aida, Grace Farrell in Annie, and Vi in Footloose for 24 weeks at the Tuacahn Amphitheatre in Saint George, Utah. Other highlights include the title role in Evita (Welk Resort Theatre, Escondido), three productions of 42nd Street, narrating Joseph… twice, Cassie in A Chorus Line, Pitti-Sing in The Hot Mikado (Starlight Theatre, San Diego), Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Meredith Parker in Bat Boy.     KAROLE FOREMAN is happy to return to the California Musical Theatre family. Last summer she appeared as Muzzy in Thorougly Modern Millie. Other shows: Parade at the Mark Taper, South Bay City CLO’s Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Magdelene), Hangin’ Out, The Good Body and Norman’s Ark. Other shows: Josephine Tonight (Josephine Baker), Jelly’s Last Jam (Anita, Suzi Bass Award) and Mamma Mia! (Tanya). Other theaters: Denver Center, Alliance Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Portland Center Stage, Mark Taper, San Jose Rep, AMT of San Jose, Northshore Music Theatre, Goodspeed Opera House and Pasadena Playhouse. TV: “Medium,” “Third Watch,” “Law & Order,” “Strong Medicine,” “The Bold & The Beautiful,” “Becker” and numerous commercials. Awards: Garland Award for As Bees in Honey Drown and numerous DramaLogue Awards. Writing honors include the Richard Rodgers’ Award, a Jonathan Larson Foundation Grant and an Edgerton Foundation Grant for her musical The Princess and the Black-Eyed Pea. Her new musical The Venus Hottentot’s Extreme Makeover was selected for presentation for this years’ ASCAP/Disney Musical Theater workshop.

    MICHAEL G. HAWKINS appeared last summer with Music Circus in Into The Woods (Narrator/Mysterious Man). His other Music Circus productions include Sweeney Todd (Judge Turpin), The Music Man (Harold Hill), and Kiss Me, Kate (Fred/Petruchio). Michael has recently appeared as Captain Hook in the national tour of Peter Pan, as Mervyn Kant in The Sisters Rosensweig for TheatreWorks in San Francisco and as Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol in San Diego. He has appeared as Georges in the critically acclaimed Los Angeles production of La Cage aux Folles, as Billy Flynn in Chicago in Las Vegas, as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls at Harrah’s in Atlantic City and was proud to originate the role of Adam in the world premiere of Dale Wasserman’s new musical Western Star. Michael also had the great pleasure of touring as Julian Marsh in the European company of 42nd Street. His television credits include guest appearances on “Eli Stone,” “Frasier,” “Charley Lawrence,” “Murder She Wrote,” “Wings,” “Colombo Movie of the Week,” “Cheers,” “Newhart,” “The Young & The Restless” and the Hallmark Hall Of Fame presentation of “A Place For Annie.” Michael is proud to be a founding member of the Musical Theatre Guild in Southern California.

    JEFFREY CHRISTOPHER TODD is excited to start off 2010 by making his California Musical Theatre debut! Most recently Jeffrey played Brad in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and starred in the new musical Creature from the Black Lagoon produced by Universal Studios and Marc Routh. Recent Theatre: Fade Out/Fade In (Musical Theatre Guild), Rated RSO: The Music + Lyrics of Ryan Scott Oliver (Boston Court), Abraham in Altar Boyz (Sierra Rep), Ty in Del Shores’ revival of Sordid Lives (Zephyr Theatre), Oscar in The Wild Party (L.A. premiere), Herbie in Rudolph the Red-Hosed Reindeer (Elephant Theatre), Pooster in Ann E. Wrecksick (directed by Tony nominated Kristin Hanngi), Danny in Grease (Performance Riverside) and Anyone But Me (Blank Theatre). TV/film: “Wizards of Waverly Place” (Disney Channel), “Not Another High School Show” (Comedy Central pilot), “Silent Venom” (Fox), “Polar Opposites” (Here TV) and “Tunnel Rats” (Universal).
