Travel to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet the Wonderettes: Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy and Suzy, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts and voices to match. This cotton-candy colored pop musical blast from the past features the classic songs from the ’50s and ’60s including “Lollipop,” “It’s My Party” and “It’s In His Kiss.” With the original New York director and choreographer and members of the off-Broadway cast.
The musical foursome at the center of the play will be played by Lindsay Mendez as Betty Jean, Lowe Taylor as Cindy Lou, Misty Cotton as Missy and Bets Malone as Suzy (don't you love the names!). Malone, is a member of the original cast of "The Marvelous Wonderettes" but is familiar to Sacramentans as Martha Jefferson from "1776" and Hodel in "Fiddler on the Roof." Cotton, whose New York credits includes "Miss Saigon" returns to Music Circus where she was The Narrator in "Joseph ..." and Philia in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." Mendez returns to the tent for the first time since the premiere of "Footloose." Her Broadway credits includes playing Jan in the revival of "Grease." Roger Bean, the creator of the show, will direct in collaboration with original choreographer and musical director, Janet Miller and Michael Borth, respectively.

Availability Guide
Ticket availability is updated at least once a week. Availability may change at any time.

Best availability - A green star means that at least 250 seats (about 10 percent of the house) are available for sale.
Limited availability - A yellow yield sign means that less than 250 seats (about 10 percent of the house) are available for sale. These performances can be expected to sell out soon. Seating will likely be limited to the last two rows of the theatre, or to random single tickets throughout the house.
Very limited availability- A red stop sign means that less than 100 tickets are available for sale. In most cases this means that there may not be two tickets next to each other.
